Report a problem or ask a question
Use the GitHub issue tracker. Issues are public, so others can see what was reported and how it was resolved. For a problem with a station, include the station_id, the release date, and what you compared it with.
Every automated decision in a release is stored in a public table with its evidence. If you think a decision is wrong, open an issue that names the station; a confirmed issue reverses the decision in the next release.
Who runs it
OpenTideConstants started as the data work behind webcaltides.org, a service that publishes tide and current predictions as calendar feeds. The webcaltides prediction engine is the reference predictor for OTC, and webcaltides uses OTC releases.
The automation keeps the data current without a person in the loop. Changes to the code and the rules are made in public, through the repository.
